When you hear "take the point" being used in game, what does it mean to you?
I first played Ren circa 20 years ago, and all this time I've interpreted the radio command "Take the point!" to mean something like "hey, listen to what I'm saying punk" rather than "capture that strategic point on the map". For example you've all piled into an APC and someone issues the command "Move out", yet the driver doesn't move and then someone issues the command "Take the point!" as if to say, hurry up, move out.
Maybe it's the manner in which the voice actor says it, or the fact I've heard "take the point" used in the manner I describe... but I've never heard it used to actually mean take position in a certain point on the map.
For that matter, if I could go back in time and tell Westwood to tweak a few of the commands, I'd remove "take cover" or "fall back"... they both roughly mean the same thing/are used in the same situations. I'd also remove "watch where you're pointing that" as friendly fire is never an issue and replace it with "I need backup"... which could be used a general statement as well as a call for people to join your plan. I'd maybe change "don't get in my way" to "excuse me", war is polite
