Well I'm not sure anyone else has posted something like this before so I apologise in advance if someone has. Anyway here we go.And this is my opinion not a fact.
Nuking Outside:
Lesson 1.Do not nuke outside if there is a present working Airstrip or Weapons Factory and a steady flow of player-vehicles, Don't do it outside especially if it's flying that's quite tricky what with the Orca/Apache machine gun.
Lesson 2.If you can nuke outside( I never nuke outside but anyway) Keep it to a confined space where your Timed C4 comes in handy.
Lesson 3.Don't start lazerizing the engineer while theres a Hotwire there, be smart and blast a few Head Shots to the Hotwire and the Engineer. To my experience they both almost all the time panic and start chasing you with C4(or pistol if your unlucky) Rememer noone's repairing the nuke so let them chase you.
Lesson 4.Nuke strategically, What's harder to deal with? A Power Plant or a Weapons Factory?(Or a Refinery or a Barracks)
Nuking Inside:
Lesson 1.Nuking inside has it's benefits which I prefer over to nuking outside. It is risky for numerous reasons, A; Proximity Mines, B; Respawns by the enemy, C;Confined area to defend.
Lesson 2.When nuking inside, do not blow any proximity mines unless it's just the one and your sure mostly everyone is out the base( They can make a pretty big noticeable set-off).
Lesson 3. You will need to be aware that yoru team might have the upper advantage and is killing the enemy, this increases the chance of someone respawning inside the building( with you in it)
Lesson 4.Hide and stay away from your placed nuke but have a good vantage of it. For example, I always nuke the Barracks day in day out, especially if it's flying because the Hotwires always mines the front of the barracks and not the door so what you do? Jump off the roof!!It works!!, it's the easiest for me to take out and 'least expected for various reasons. A little secret I always nuke beside the Barracks MCT, the enemy will always check outside, the roof, and anywhere else until someone smart realises theres a jumpable roof and the entrance, not the doors, have been mined realises what's gone on. When the nuke is placed beside the MCT corner, I place the timed C4 just out of sight of anyone who'll peek in to check for Pedestal nuke. Then I hide by the Barracks entrance door and shoot from there, not advancing so they have to come to me. To me it works almost the majority of the time if you know what your doing.
