There is no brenbot.cfg in the same directory. It will not work without a configuration.
Also, be sure to run it in the same CWD (current working directory) as brenbot itself. Running it from a shortcut without setting the right CWD will not work.

Yes, wherever you unpack brenbot, you should have these files in the same dir:
C:\Temp>cd brenbot-131
C:\Temp\BRenBot-131>dir
Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is 1A0E-0B01
Directory of C:\Temp\BRenBot-131

if you moved or copied the brenbot.exe to another dir and run it there, thats probably why. Also if you run a cmd.exe prompt and run it from another dir like C:\TEMP> \some\other\dir\brenbot.exe it will also not like that.
