As some of you may know, the bygames Renegade servers are closing tomorrow at 2pm GMT.
I'd just like to thank everyone that's played on them since the beginning (and those few that played before the beginning - you know who you are) and I hope you all enjoyed playing on them as much as I enjoyed running them.

It was good having them. I played there a lot over the time since they were up and I had some good games even though at some times there could be a lot of n00bs playing.
Just to let everyone know, it isn't just the Renegade servers that have closed, the whole of the bygames service closed down so it wasn't an "attempt" to kill the game because it was getting old.

The topic comes from the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy books.
The servers were called "Bygames Renegade #1, #2, and #3" - imaginative, huh?
