Select Utilities (the hammer icon), then pick "MaxScript", a drop down box will appear, select W3d->Gmax Importer (you have to select it), then scroll down the button is there ("Load W3d Object").
Hope that helps.

Ok as so many people are having problems adding the W3D converter button i have made a video tutorial on how you add it. It requires the DivX 5 codev to view it. The veideo guide is here http://generalhavoc.port5.com/w3dt.zip . On the viado you will see 2 other buttons with the same icon, there just copies of the button that i just added to test if it worked. Make sure you have installed the MAX script properly before trying to follow the guide.
