Well I am trying to be able to print from my labtop through my wireless connection to my desktop cpus printer down cellar. I put sharing for both the labtop and the desktop. I have the printer name called "printer" and both are named that in the add printer section. Yet when I try to print from here it says cannot print file on printer. (yes its on lol) Ive tried a lot of things including renaming it and what not, still nothing. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Hmm - try uninstalling the printer on the host machine, reinstall it and update to the latest drivers. On your leptop - remove the network printer then add it again - it should load the drivers up for you then try printing a test page. Sometimes the spooler exe can get bugged on the remote machine during installation.

Yeah it sometimes works. Printer networks are a pain unless your systems are both running XP. It's normally a matter of keep trying. I just kept messing with mine and it work after a lot of messing. I can't tell you why it suddenly worked but i followed what i said before and after a lot of messing with settings it just worked.
