my card can go up to 8x but my mother board cant is there anything i could download to make my mother board compliant or is it a physical thing?

but the 8X card that i am trying to buy says that it works on 2X, 4X, 8X.(all of them) wait i will give you the exact text::::

Compliant to AGP 3.0 specification by Intel Corporation supports the corresponding technology, AGP 8X, doubles the peak bandwidth capability of the AGP bus to 2.1GB/s, while retaining compatibility with the previous-generation AGP 4X technology.

this is in the description of the CARD.

At the moment there is not many games that can take full advantage of AGP 8X.

Ummm, it will work fine, and lmfao yes you WILL have enough voltage because you'll be running 1.5V for AGP4x duh!!!!!!!! And btw yea that 900Mhz will bottleneck that 9500Pro.... You just won't be getting 100%... I think u need over 3Ghz eventually for the VPU to be the botteneck..

It depends on your memory and other specs. That card is pretty good, it's what I have. I recommend a 128 MB though. 64MB just isn't enough.

You may want a little more Memory, but that's pretty good. There's no telling what your FPS will be, but it won't be that bad.

OK i have now decided to take CONNECT 3D ATI RADEON 9600 128 MB AGP , my comp is:

2.2 ghz AMD ATHLON XP
256 RAM
20 GB HARD DISK
CONNECT 3D ATI RADEON 9600 128 MB

how will my PC perform now? any ideas on my fps now??

i really want to play splinter cell, but it did not worked on my old 64mb SIS, how will it perform on this card ?

i know i need to upgrade my RAM too but i am low on cash after that.
