why cant i make a game that somebody else can join using this button from the WOL menu?

how do i make a server quickly that sombody can join to test something?

well i can make the game and start it up. but nobody can join it, they all get some error message about negotiating port with server.

ive actually only been able to find 1 person ever that could make a server others could join using this option

Well, maybe you should ensure that the correct ports are open on your router/firewall.

Depends on your router. Usually you log in to your router's control panel and look for a button called 'Port Forwarding'. There you add the ports and forward them to your PC.

If you can't figure it out, you'll either have to find your manual or see if you can find it here: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
(or if the exact model isn't there, you can try a previous/later model)

If you have a wireless router at all, then you're practically guaranteed to be behind a NAT. You'll have to follow Omar's instructions... but PortForward.com is pretty foolproof once you find your specific router.
