Today I was playing on the Nod side on field when I noticed the obelisk was shot from outside the base. I think directly from the GDI base with a MRLS! A guy called Wrsniper was on the Nod side getting a lot of credits. I am not saying it was him (he is a good player)
Seen this before?

u be gdi buy mrls go by ref silo youll c top of hand the hand grabing the globe shoot at it the mrls missles will get it (by ref silo and behind barracks a little) it works fine put a piece of tape on your mouse and have a sandwich ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I don't mind camping at buildings if u do this in common places or open field and the others are just too silly to stop u. But these building attack from own base in islands and now also in field should be fixed as soon as possible - i wouldn't bother if admins kick people for doing this (if they warned them before, of course)...

That exploit is a very old and often-discussed one. Search the topics for "MRLS camping" and you will find some arguments pro and contra. I personaly dont like it and always write it in the welcome message when I host games.

Hmm -
yesterday - i saw someone shooting MRLS rockets through the mountain on "Field" --
i have screen shots if anyone is interested.
I would say every fourth missle would spin down and hit the Ref.
Few points are earned - and it was a waste of time for the attacker. (we owned the Field with MA's/LT's
(BTW - i noticed that when a team is losing - they resort to cheap tactics like this to try to win)
Looks like they didnt set the "projectile" check on the mesh for the mountains.
