Make it so it doesn't notify me of new posts by default? I thought I turned that off, but it still is on by default?

Jesus, it's time to stop worrying about other people's problems.

For all posts you make in future you can disable the notifications being turned on by default by going to Control Panel -> Account Settings and setting;
Quote: | Select Notification by Default:
If notification is enabled by default, it can be disabled when posting.
|
To No
For all existing notifications do as Zeratul says and unsubscribe from them through the control panel. Simply turning them off by default will only affect new posts, not existing ones. You can do this in Control Panel -> Subscriptions.
EDIT;
Wow, just bumped a several week only topic... and yet it was displayed with a new post icon? How bizarre...
