well your ping is below 200, mine usually is 250 or something depending on the server and people in the server. So its not the ping.

Main Menu -> Multiplay Internet -> Westwood Online.

Move your mouse to the very left edge of the screen, the side bar will appear.

Side bar -> My Information

My Information -> Connection Type.

Pick "LAN/T1".

If there's a "save" button, press it. Then sign in as normal. Smile

Is this reccomended for all users; or do you estimate that this is his internet connection, unless i've missed something.

What exacty does setting your connection type do? Does it alter the bandwidth setting you get when you join a server only, if that?

i do think it has something to do with the server sending information. Lower settings, slower information? i dont know, just set it as high as possible Thumbs Up

Unless you have a 56K modem, set it to LAN/T1. This (probably) changes your default bandwith budget (You can do it directly from the command-console thing, press F8, type sbbo ######### in KBPS) to a nice large number, which means the server will send you more updates. There used to be (still is, but BRenBot counters it) an exploit whereby you'd set your bandwith to a low number, to give you advantageous lag.

Talk about news lows...

As long as you have at least 512kbit/s as connection you can set it to LAN/T1.
