skinning contest

The idea:

We want to start skinning contests here in renegade forums.
These contests are to show off your skinning skills, pushing them to a higher limit, providing others with new skins to use and just to have fun.

The contests will each have a object to skin choosen everytime by the winner of the previous contest.

The rules:

Like every contest here are some rules too.

- The ss of the skin must show the whole skin.
- It must be your skin and not from anyone else
- Make the skins alone and without help
- The skins must be useable online and offline
- No nudity
- No racism

How it works:

When the object is choosen the skinning begins.
If you want to enter the skinning contest write me a pm with:
ss
and the dds file.

After the given last entry date has passed and everybody handed in there enrty the voting phase starts.

When the winner is choosen he choose the object of the next contest and the circle continues.

IF SOMEONE DONT FOLLOW THE RULES HE WILL GET EXCLUDED OF THE CURRENTLY CONTEST!

The object of the first contest is the NOD APC

so have fun and good luck to everyone Wink.

I'm saying that the voting will be unfair.
All the fanboys make the voting unfair. I agree with gozy, one person or a team of people should decide the winner rather than voting.

Don't kill the idea - just set it up first.

We need specific judges, mostly.

Not judges, just set up a poll with just the skins, no names, then afterwards the person who won will be revealed. That'll remove alot of bias.

That would work, and say if someone revealed which one theirs was, they'd be disqualified, maybe

A much better idea indeed.
As jsxkeule is running it too, he should not be allowed to vote. (kinda goes without saying, but still...)
