I really miss servers with beloved CP2-maps like Terrace, Siege, Mutation_Redux, Last_Stand ... now for months!

I guess, its one year or more ago, that a big server had such maps set up as map-packs....

Its boring to play only this handful standard maps all the time.

So, PLEASE, if it is possible, JELLY and n00bstories or anyone, set up a CP2 server again...

TK2 removed Siege from their map rotation a while back because it caused most players to drop out of the server due to not having the map. It seems the majority of players don't actually install the core patches, and hence servers featuring CP2 maps struggle to stay full when those maps come around.

When the new scripts.dll comes out with automatic map downloading we will likely see these and many other maps becoming much more common on servers.

it's different when a server runs field and islands and all the basic maps and then throws a cp2 map in there than a server that runs cp2 maps all the time

i think that's what he's asking for

We used to have Siege, BunkersTS and Snow in the rotation as they're the only maps you can also play with a limited amount of players, in my experience. We had automessages and even the motd saying "download these three great maps at thekoss2.org/maps. To no avail. Only clan members and some regulars had them, all the others seemed to just refuse downloading them Sad

. I hope TT can help us overcome this problem, though from what I understood, it'll take some more time for them to finish the map downloader.

unbelievable, that the lazyness of some guys forces us not to
play on such great maps and to have real diversification.
