Problem with Yuris. [message #358183]

Recruit

Problem with Yuris.

Ok. I went to go play Yuri's 10 minutes ago. and I got an string error message. I've ran the game in administrator mode, I've used every computer compatibility there is. and still nothing. Nothing will cut it for me. Can anyone tell me whats wrong and hopefully have a solution to this problem.

One of my best friends had this problem too. It's caused by VISTA

Before i can help you i need to know if you have The First Decade or just Yuri's Revenge (+Red Alert 2 ofc Razz

)

just yuris and ra2 not decade

Since it is a bit different with TfD i hope this works: (in TfD also other files need to change Razz

)

right click on:

Ra2.exe
game.exe
mph.exe
mphmd.exe
RA2MD.exe
YURI.exe

apply this setting :

then (ONE OF THEM!!!)

double click (open) game.exe -> select allow
double click (open) gamemd.exe -> select allow
double click (open) mph.exe -> select allow
double click (open) mphmd.exe -> select allow

Or just turn off User Account Control Smile

Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control On or Off

to start RED Alert 2, open Ra2.exe
to start Yuri Revenge, open YURI.exe

right click on:

Ra2.exe
game.exe
mph.exe
mphmd.exe
RA2MD.exe
YURI.exe

hmm maybe i did somethign wrong but i followed your instuctions do you have msn you could remote control my computer and help me out here please

I have a YR problem too,
I have XP professional with the latest EVERYTHING

I have both TFD & original disks

With TFD it says: Yuri's Revenge has encountered an error
I have no mods or ANYTHING

With original, It shows the samething

i have had that problem with vista and XP wat i did is reinstall them and it worked Razz
