Rudy is the man when it comes to grilling someone...I lol'd when he brought up Obama's 130 "present" votes on the city council.
Palin's speech was OK, I don't get why everyone was raving about it on TV...must be because I'm an ass and therefore more attracted to Guiliani's approach.

Pundits are saying she exceeded expectations, and I think she performed exactly how the Republicans wanted her to. I was hoping there'd be more mention of 'policy' , but I suppose that'll come later in the election; besides, it's not as if 'policy' was a big deal at the DNC anyways, unless you count "Hope" and "Change" as policies. Really, it was a case of getting her out there in front of voters to see what she's all about.
If she maintains the exact same attitude while debating Joe Biden, it'll make for one interesting face-off... if it were Mitt Romney, or Lieberman, Biden would try to tear them a new one, but he's going to have to be tactful with her because gender will be a factor. Biden has tasted his foot more than a few times already, and if he slips up, she's going go from 'hockey mom' mode, to the full on 'barracuda with lipstick' shtick.
It looked as if Giuliani's speech made a lot of people uncomfortable at moments, but I enjoyed it. Huckabee's European jab was a good one, and I also liked the self-sufficiency jab too.

She sounded very elitist in her attacks. This is her first speech and what not but she should't have raged that much against Obama.
Though I must admit her last part of the speech about McCain were beautifully written. Almost poetic as she described McCain going from "Hanoi to the Oval Office." Very touching as well.
Great writing there...but is it just writing?
Still, the fact that this woman stands just 1 cm away from the presidency is scary.

George Bush's famous, and geo-political defining 'Axis of Evil' speech was written by a Canadian.
