Okay, so I was playing Renegade online one night, and it froze, and the game closed. EVery time I opened it, it had to send an error report and closed. All I had to do is replace the script.dll or whatever.

It happened again, and I had to uninstall, and then install ALL of the installed TFD games to get it to work again.

It happened again, but I don't want to go through reinstalling everything again.

I am using Windows XP Home Service Pack 2.

=Things that don't work=
-Replacing the script.dll
-Repairing(reinstalling) TFD
-Removing Renegade from TFD, and then adding it back
-Disabling error reporting
-Replacing the game2.exe

I have RenGuard with CP 2, but it doesn't work so I just use Game2.exe.

I would like to NOT spend 2 hours uninstalling and reinstalling TFD.

Why does Renguard not work?

What does renaming scripts.dll to scripts-custom.dll and then renaming scripts2.dll to scripts.dll do? (That restores the default Westwood scripts)

What were you doing when Renegade crashed? (aside from playing, more accurately, like "I was repiaring my tank")

And finally, does Using the latest version of the scripts help? (If you're using 3.4, then your game will crash as it contains a VERY NASTY (so nasty it deserves capital letters) memory leak)

(Oh, at a guess, your system actually does contain some video RAM, but EAsySysInfo didn't find it, lol)

Looks like you were using 3.4 and it was crashing because of the memory leak (that really is SO NASTY it deserves capitals)

Oh well, another one put back online Smile
