Yeah this stuff is old, but great, TAS was a genious.

Renegade 2007 is using the concepts as reference for our characters, as the concepts had much more detail.

I just read about ren2007, it's for unreal not renegade lol, i got it confused with a mod where a guy was redoing all the models and skins to be better, anyways...I guess i still need to wait around and see if anyone will make the beta sniper.

No, the character designs are being taken from the concepts, but everything else is just an improvement from the original game (higher resolution, more details, higher polygon, etc.)

I hope it will be possible to port the Renegade 2007 mod to the PS3 version of UT. I heard news that it will likely be possible. Now THAT would give me another drug for next 3 years!!!

A lot of people like shooters on consoles Sarcasm Myself included. I have an Xbox 360, and the developers of Unreal Tournament 3 are saying that we might be able to port mods to it.

I'd be able to play a remake of my favorite game on a big LCD screen. That's wild...

Anyone have a screenshot of the other beta sniper? I know theres one that is similar to the current 500 sniper, but more advanced looking, it's like the beta sniper, but black and green, I think it was the second beta sniper which lead to the one we currently use.....

I think it would have been a lot better if Renegade had different weapons to both GDI and Nod. They should have had different Assault Rifles and the Black Hand Sniper should have had a unique laser-based sniper rifle. Needless to say, it would have been a lot cooler.

I think renegade should have a weapon mod, similae to reborn's weapon system, both teams have different gun models if i am correct (may not be) but have them use the same damage and power and all that, but just different, using the gun makes gdi and nod seem more..........more like they both shop at the same gun market lol

But that doesn't make them lasers; even the Nod Assault rifle creates red tracers.

Yes but not as visible as the Nod sniper rifle, the rifle tracer/laser looks like a Railgun shot.
