i have no idea what's going on. i downloaded rengaurd and did the disable firewall and it worked. but, when i went to play renegade i'm not allowed to because it says this:
game2.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point
?Detect_Bandwidth@@YAKKKHAAHAAKKPAUtBandtestSettingsStruct@@P
AD@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library BandTest.dll.
If anyone can translate that or suggest how to fix it that would be great. I'm afraid the technology is taking over and my resistance is futile...

Your bandtest.dll is corrupted...you can try reinstalling from scratch or d/ling an intact bandtest.dll file...

Actually it means that he didn't update Renegade to version 1.037 before installing anything else.

Do this...
1) Reinstall Renegade
2) Download the patch (1.037 )
3) install RenGuard
4) Have fun
