The hummer is made by General Motors, usually powered with a Turbo 6.5 litre Diesel engine (The new ones likley run Izusu's Duramax and an Allison transmission), Tubro Hydramatic 400 (TH400) 3 speed automatic transmission (bulletproof transmission, the new ones will have a 4l80e transmission, allowing for the strength of the TH400, but providing an overdrive unit helping with economy), and a part time 205 transfercase (I am sure you can get a 208 full time, or electronic transfercase with it). They are tough vehicles, but by no means fast or flashy. Extremely good off road too, they have the wheels pushed very far to the front of the vehicle so it will not get hung up on stuff by the front bumper, and makes use of chain driven Independent Suspension systems for powering the wheels. Runs a CV like setup up front and out back, that is dropped to the spindle with a chain. This gives the Hummer an awesome ground clearance rating. Most 4x4 pickups have solid axles, and they will get stuck if the axle housing hits something solid under the mud, unlike a Hummer.
All sorts of other neat stuff in there too, which is why I call the H2 an overglorified sissy SUV, its just an ugly body dropped onto a Tahoe / Shortbed truck frame.
There are a crapload of variants to the Hummer, but I dunno if they made a 2 door variant...

Pointless Trivia:
Westwood once gave away a C&C-liveried black Hummvee (complete with fake mounted machine guns)

If I didn't knew I would say the Renegade Humm-Vee is the H3 or H4.
