The add/remove program shows the size of the whole Renegade and any add-ons you have, not just RG.

Hint: convert images to .JPG format when you put them up for download, this changes their size to some 200KB instead of over 2MB, and the quality stays decent too.

I get the same problem, it's just a bug with the Add/Remove software thing. It thinks everything in the Renegade folder is part of the game, so anything installed in that folder will cause Windows to think it's all part of the program.

Oh, so when it says RenGuard is taking up 959 MB also, it basically thinks it is Renegade?

Not exactly. The Add/Remove software knows it's a seperate program, but it gives the size of the files/folders in the folder the program is in, not the size of the program itself. That's why they have the same size, since they are both in the same folder.

For instance, Renegade just installed is just around 900MB, and we all know RenGuard is around 2mb (give or take).

If you add maps, Renegade is still around 900MB, but the folder is larger, because of the maps, etc. Add/Remove will report your Renegade/RenGuard's size as the initial program size, plus anything you've added into the folder as well.

Not an important bug, but not helpful either.

And be aware of the screenshots, everytime you press [PRINT] it takes an TGA screenshot, depending on oyur resolution it may take up 5Mb each!
