for you NO CDers got a little tip for ya

while looking to change the options in renagde manually becuase if i done them ingame they would reset for next load which was frikin gay
i loaded up the registry files to change them myself
now this is where you guys come in..
great thing the no cd patch...
but that annoying pop up when you load renegade..
i know how to get rid of it..
if you wanna get rid of it do this

Warning.. do not change anything else in these registrys unless you know what you are doing :/

open "Run" from the start menu
type "regedit" hit enter
Expand the folder called "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
Expand "SOFTWARE"
Expand "Westwood"
Expand "Renegade"
then click on the "Options" folder
now set field in the red outline to 1

and when you load no more annoying pop up
also there are some other options you can change in here.. like when you press quit it asks are you sure.. you can skip that for in game and the menus
you can also remove hud from here (not tried)
"ForceGod" is that god mode?? Razz

cool changeing the "DefaultToFirstPerson" value to 0 means no more pressing F when i join the game Razz

EDIT: you nac also go click the + box by WOL Settings then go to URL and change what pages the game will display

eg: change it to display clanwars.cc so you can look at it from ingame Razz

Another way to skip the please insert CD whilst Renegade is loading is to create or rip the movie files from the renny CD. You make a new folder in the data directory called "movies" and place the 2 files EA_WW.bik and R_Intro.bik in there.
Its much cooler when you have your own personalised intros Razz
