I was just trying the reborn shotgun to see if the file for first person view was accepted. duh...
the file wasn't objects.ddb, fg_mshot.w3d or something like that, lier. :rolleyes:
And I can get a proof of it. ( I can ask mac if you want. )

Ask mac idiot. He has access to the log of renegade community 1 server. ( STUTU Clan )
Why would I try to cheat on a renguard server with object.ddb if I helped for Renguard... First person view model of weapon doesn't change anything or give any advantage, so I tried it, I really like my shotgun and wanted to try it online.

This is the ONLY instance I could find of Renardin being kicked by RenGuard, and it was for a shotgun texture, not an objects.ddb file.

I have no idea where that log RenX pasted was from, it appears to be falsified. Furthermore, RenX has no access to the RG logs anyhow, so I would not take serious any that he pastes.

I use a custom first person view pistol ( beretta ) on all renguard server, it's just a graphic enchancement.
|
And yes I helped for renguard but not choosing wich files were proteced, so I did a test... Hard to understand ?

You did falsify the logs. When we paste something from the RenGuard logs, we purposely edit out some non-public information that appears in the alerts. Wherever you got that, it was not a direct log.
However, what I can tell you is that we don't, by default, get an alert if you launch RenGuard with disallowed files and get disconnected. We only see alerts when someone tries to drop the files into the data directory mid-game. Interpret that how you will, but Renardin DID in fact drop the models in after he connected to the server in an attempt, I assume, to fool RenGuard, which obviously failed miserably. He was not, however, kicked for objects.ddb. That was a deliberate falsification.
