I learned css, its freeking awsome. I got the percents to work, its awsome.

Is there a way to make your own table designs and borders?

Like par say, if i want a table with a border that looks like a transparent tube all the way around it?

Also, i have a table with a code like this:

<td width=60% height="50% valign="middle" align="center">

blah.gif ill use the image code, this is a background i made from a winplayer skin that has borders and a open box in the middle for a textbox.

but then ill put a textarea in the same table as the image but its below the image, and i want it to fit in the box of the image.

And how do i position the textarea in the box, using percents, so its always in that spot no matter what size the ie window is or the resolution?

i tried using a <div position absolute but its moves when you have bigger or smaller esolution or when you maximise the window. Please help.

You missed 1 (or 3) quotation marks. Your retarded self forgot to add a quotation mark around the 50%, and it'd probably be best if you had quotations around the 60%, but not needed.

As for the position absolute: duh it's going to move per resolution. The absolute position means that it will be at the same point whether or not the resolution changes.

Example:

A point at (2, 2) on a 4 x 4 grid

. . . .
. . . .
. . . .
. . . .

Now the same point (2, 2) on a 8 x 8 grid.

. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .

See, instead of the point staying near the middle as in the first example, it ended up being towards the top left hand corner on the second example.

whoa.

That was my example, i do have quotations around the percents. But the problem is that i cant get the table background to stay in the same spot no matter what. When you maximise the window it moves to the left and shows part of a copy of it on the right. the textarea stays in the same spot but the table background moves around.

here is that part of my code:

<td valign="middle" align="center" background="Textbox.jpg">

<textarea>blah blah blah</textarea>

but the table background moves around.

gbull, im using a program called HTML builder.
