I was skeptical of this RenAlert "update" at first, but I tried it, and I have to say... This is like when I started playing Renegade online for the first time. It's the game totally re-invented. New tactics and strategies, new maps, vehicles, and so on.
Crimson's (lag-free) 32 player server was just a blast, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun playing Renegade.
I'm not just kissing ass when I say that, congratulations to the RenAlert team on making a fantastic mod, and I'm sure it'll only get better in future updates.
