Get the latest chipset drivers, etc. I dunno why it is slow, but the 9500 is a great card. It might be worth it to get a 2500+ for overclocking reasons.

ok, I ended up getting $300 worth of clothes and nothing game related at all. But we might be getting a new comp soon, because if we tell them it is for my school work, we wont have to pay any taxes. Maybe I can convince mom to get one with a good graphics card already in it.

i have a ATI radeon 9700 Pro and i can max out almost everygame (the ones that are on my shelf, such as UT2003,renegade,BF1942,and Planetside) and i can sit at 60 FPS. Very Happy

its only 375 dollars and it will work like a charm! But im also using a RAID and a 1.5 ghz , 512 Ram Razz

but im getting a Alienware laptop soon which will put my PC to shame Razz

Mainly the KT400 board as I don't use the KT333 ones much now. It seems to effect the FX 5600. I had a lod of the KT400 boards that had a faulty BIOS setting so they need upgrades to enable the 8x AGP. It seemed to fix the problems with the FX 5600 after.

Yea, when the KT400 boards first hit the market they didn't work with 8X AGP cards correctly. Thats why I hate adopting early. We never carried KT400 boards... We held out for NF2 boards.

p3 550 mhz
128 mb pc-133
old mobo
i have the crappiest computer but ren still runs really good.
(ALOT better then my old 8 mb lol.)
