Never mine a place u can't really defend by yourself. When I see a mine field in the tunnels of C&C_field for instance, i just take an engy (cost 0 => I don't care if I die) and go demining... Each defuse is 30 pts. 10 mines defused = 300 pts !!!
On this kind of map (AGT/obelisk defended) placing undefended mines can cost victory.

This is as dumb as placing an undefended beacon.

true -- but sometimes i plant some "easy" mines to lure in the defusers....


they just stand there as you pump some rounds in their head.....


this wont work if they have backup standing there -- so a couple rounds of MRLS into them works wonders.
