Doesn't using a laptop on your lap make you sterile eventually?

First, it's not a laptop. It's a notebook, not designed to be used on your lap.

And second, who said there isn't any protection between the MacBook and my lap? IE: A cooling deck, raised deck, whatever.

Nope, 1 computer. XP is running in a Virtual Machine, that's why it appears on the Vista toolbar. I had my XP VM open because I use it for Oz coding, which I have to do for my university assignment. Once I have done my university stuff I don't need to clean up all the Oz garbage from my main machine, I can just restore the VM to a clean copy of its disk image.

I was still right...smartass Sad

I can't wait to go home from work and snap a picture of my desktop and post. And like Dave, I have a white CRT (mine is 9 years old!).

For now, +1 post. Big Grin

Funny that someone should bring up the Macbook, seeing as how I got a Macbook Pro about two weeks ago. Great system; very easy to dual boot and very little that could be easily stomped/snapped off/broken. That it has four times the performance of my last computer is a nice little bonus too.

Desktop courtesy of awesome fanart gallery. I'm using the same image for both XP and OSX.

I have a skylight above me, so I get plenty of light, but it can suck using an LCD at certain times of day. But being able to crack open the french doors and get a breeze is well worth it.

In winter, I also get an awesome view of the mountains. Smile

Dave Anderson, do you know if a that same wallpaper but for the Core 2 Duo exists (E8400 FTW!). When I first got it, I looked for Core 2 Duo wallpapers but found nothing too good, nor much at all.

nikki6ixx, my brother has that same computer. Not sure if it's the exact model, but it's that same small slimline HP case.

My old CRT broke a few weeks ago, so was fucked for a for a few days, till we brought these two from ebay, the sony is a 22 inch and only cost 17 quid, the flatscreen is a 18 inch and was 70 quid.

Couldn't believe how I got on with only one screen, having two owns, gonna get a third one when I get a new computer later this year. In Love

It doesn't unfortunately, from my searching anyway. I can't find any decent C2D wallpapers either.

Actually, it's not a computer. It's a HP Media Vault, a Network Hard Drive, and the best $299.99 I spent.

I only have the laptop, which has its good's and bad's.
