I took two big chunks out of my front teeth. Had to have acrilyic chunks to but back and i can still feel the seams where they meet.

Also had to take 4 injections of local anestetic to take two teeth out and move my teeth together to close a farly large gap in my teeth.

Wasn't as bad as most people think.

Wow... good luck with that. I have to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed pretty soon (like, whenever the cavities bug me enough to schedule the work to do done) but jaw surgery is MUCH worse. I hope everything works out OK.

Do NOT opt for local anisthetic. Slight pressure my ass.

rofl, i seen my freind get his teath pulled out. he had a local anasthetic, the doctor/dentist was putting so much pressure into pulling it the tooth snapped in half.

i can really say much on this thread as nothing like this happens to me, i hanvnt even broke a bone. he only think that i have been to hopital for was to remove a lump on my nee where i had a general anasthetic.

anyway good luck and remeber milk it as much as you can, you should be lieing in bed with a bell and have everyone running around after you. it will be the best time of your life!

Wait a minute, was the anisthetic whatever was in that needle they kept trying to stick in my mouth? I kept telling (screaming) them I hate needles, so they didn't use it.

Even with the alleged needle, it feels like they're ripping out your entire jaw.
