Wow, that looks really good. Not like anything I've seen before, but it's a neat idea. Great work!

Nope, that still doesn't show it unwrapped, only how it was seperated. (not that good actually)
The 512x512 bitmap showing the white lines over black that is painted over in photoshop shows how it's unwrapped.

I wanted to show that it wasn't a distortion. Nothing else.
And yes it shows the model with unwrap applied on it.

Wow very nice work. Like I always say, it SHOULD look plastic. lol It's the future! All our guns and tanks will be made of plastic sooner or later and I think this is a very realistic prediction. As I've used in my examples, what happens when Kia, Hyundai, and the like switch over to wartime production? Plastic Tanks with Huge Mufflers, Spinner Treads, Colored-LEDs, Vinyl Graphics, and a Cold-Air Intake. lol

Anyhow, I don't think its a bad thing if their textures look a little plasticy.

The model is pretty good. The texture needs work, though. It looks a little more like plastic/concrete than metal... Try adding more slight metallic scratches to remind you it's metal. Also, even if the grip ISN'T warped, I suggest redoing it.
