that may be somewhat true, but there is a thing called tact, which many people here seem to lack.

How is it "somewhat" true? If they made it to where only they liked it, it wouldn't be for the public, but for themselves. And if it's for themselves, there's no need to publicly display the mod. Since they are publicly displaying it, that must mean it's for the public. Since it's for the public, the public needs to have a say.
Tact becomes usless when they just ignore everything. See what all the flaming has caused now? They're actually open to suggestions, and are actually listening. Tact didn't work well, flaming did.

I don't agree with you warranto. And saying 'Reborn sux' is lame. Remember first renalert beta ? this is still the first reborn public beta that most people are talking about... They judge and you all judge us because of a one year old beta... Sometimes, I think I should move the mod to another game just because a such ass community ( not all but a lot of it ) don't deserve to get free mods !
This is why I leave this forum for good.

The only thing that matters is that your first public beta is the current release, not that it's the first release. It's been around a year and there has been only 1 public release, no patches or other public releases what so ever, and this is about the only public release in the 2 some years this mod has been worked on.

Fair enough. Still....not saying you have or havent been with RenAlert since the beginning, I honestly dont know because I never looked. BUT, hypotheticaly-speaking, if you were not with RenAlert from the beginning and you recently joined, would you find it fair to have everything of yours bashed just because the current version of the project (which you had nothing to do with) is not up to par?
