That might give you added manoeuvrability, but you're also presenting a larger target to your opponent, and any half-decent player can hit you while you're moving by leading.

True but that only goes for the infantry, especially when your enemy is PIC/Railgun. But youre against a tank, if youre stationary, youre helping the enemy to kill yourself quickly! What would you choose? To be stationary or mobile?
