Screen Shot Issues [message #445328]

I don't know if this is actually an issue with renegade.
I run Windows 7
I have an issue of not being able to take screenshots (such as Purchase Terminal or Main Screen Background) it just takes a screenshot of the background or what is below renegades window.
Can anything be done about this?

Edit: i have attempted a screenshot utility

This is normal. You'll just have to paste the shot into Paint or The GIMP or another image editor.

Knew i was forgetting to add something. when i do it just pastes the under window or windows background

Ex:

the in game taken screenshot is

the windows or screenshot utility's screenshot is

Well it is a known issue with Win7 and Scripts 3.4.4, you will have to wait for Scripts 4.0 to be released as it contains improvements to the screenshot code to work properly in Windows Vista and 7.

i have a similar problem but when i hit the screenshot button for Renegade, then it doesnt take a screenshot or i cant find them, i looked into the Data folder of renegade but coulndt find them there

If Renegade is installed to Program Files then you have to run it as admin otherwise it doesnt have permission to create the screenshot files.

Try pressing alt + printsreen when you take screen shot then paste it in paint. If your playing renegade in window mode you have to use the alt + printscreen to capture that single window.

Just printscreen, that already saves the pic to clipboard unless you have modified your copy of windows to work differently or something.
