I have used many strats, here are some:
Base is under heavy fire. Become Techie/Hotwire. Just stand in damaged building, w/ mines at entrance and on MCT repairing, not letting up on the button any. If your under constant fire, you rack up points and money quickly.
Constanly assault base with vehicles, Mammy's, Med's, Artillery, etc,...
Engi rush.
Sniper. Preferably Havoc or Sakura.
Beacon rush.
Any other strat. Please tell me useful strategies. I am not a n00b, but I am still trying to get a high point rating, but i find that I spend too much time repairing my allies and buildings. and I find that sniping is incredibly fun and once I start, thats all I want to do and cant stop. Pls give me good strats. I already know the crouch over the nuke beacon w/ stealthy soldier or tank, .. .

this wint give you mvp because snipers dont get many points. deadeye and black hand are better then havoc and sakura for many reasons including, 500 creds, no tracer, silent and longer ranges, usually get headshots cuz they arent seen.

Building bashing. Some map are excellent for building bashing with Art or MRLS such as Island, Wall and may be Mesa. Once I got more than 7000 points by bash the GDI war fact. Every time a tank come it and when they reached it, the tanks is already in yellow.

Buy a mobile artillery, find a safe spot and pound enemy buildings. When you're damaged, scream for repairs or retreat somewhere and fix yourself. If your tank is destroyed, double back and get another. Don't stay and repair other tanks.

If your a hot wire, you should always repair... You earn credits and points, it's usually a long walk back and your team might have an advantage if you work together..When you die or commit suicide you end up at a PT, which is useually quicker and helpful towards the overall goal "TO WIN". If you don't repair- don't look for any sympathy--> U could end up like C4kitty.

The purpose of my post was to illustrate how selfish some people become to get high scores. I thought it was obvious enough.
Yes, repairing gives points as well, but its much less than damaging a building. On every map you see them, doing the same thing just to climb wol ranking.

As unfortunate as it sounds, the most common way to become MVP is to find a nice safe spot and sit there and blast at a building the whole game. Like those idiots who think they are good by blasting at the Hand from the GDI base in islands. Message: THAT DOES NOT PROVE SKILL!
On the other hand, I always get MVP by spearheading assaults and participating in every APC rush, etc. There's so many ways to become MVP. Sniping is good, but it requires MUCH skill (I suck at it, I couldn't hit a mammoth tank that was right in front of me with my scope zoomed all the way in) Remember, you get 100 points for each elite class kill you get. And in the end that racks up A LOT of points.
Covert assaults are also good for points. Going in alonew as hotwire can result in lots of points to you and 1 less building to them. Remember, killing a building gives you 750 points. Killing it with a beacon gives you a small bonus, I think 100 more points. Correct me on that.
Like I said before, there are so many ways to be MVP. But you have to be good at doing them. There's lots of things I'm ure you can discover, even if it is exploiting a bug. Then again there are so many bugs in Renegade everything you do seems to be exploitation
