Sounds like a dumb question I know, but how do you deploy the nuke beacon? I had it selected and pressed the fire button and it extended in my hand with glowing lights, but nothing happened. It didn't get dropped or thrown on the ground, wouldn't attach to rocks terrain, or anything else that might seem logical. So how does it work? I've seen GDI use the Ion Cannon outside in the tiberium field before, how do you do that?

i think you gotta not move till you drop it . i noticed if i move it doesnt throw it.. either that or hold the button down till it drops it . Ive only tried a few times so im not totaly sure yet

When you deploy a beacon you need to wait a few seconds before it is actually planted. A red bar will begin to fill on the bottom of the screen, until it does don't move your character or you'll be forced to restart the process.
