ok i dont know if it is a topic for this board but i dont care

if its wrong place mod will move it to hated board


anyway i reinstalled windows

and theres a ERROR on renegade

ok here it is

this ss is when i try and patch the renegade game

index.php?t=getfile&id=5302&private=0

this is a ss for when i tryed to patch it and it failed and i try to play renegade

index.php?t=getfile&id=5303&private=0


i have reinstalled renegade 4 times and it dose the same thing


and i have ERROR with java it wont install for some reason but thats nowt to do with renegade so i never said

but i just thought that might be the reason

If you have TFD your not supposed to patch TFD Renegade because it's already patched. If that is the case you will probably have to reinstall Renegade to fix the bandtest.dll problem.

whats TFD renegade

ok i got on the game as soon as i installed it and tryed to go online it had to download patch but i have already ave the patch so i used that instead as the other way never works

Then I don't know why the patch failed, but if your reinstalling it that often it could be that the installation disk has become damaged and therefore the files are not being copied correctly.

My very first Renegade disk I never took out of my drive, and about a year later there was a hole in it about large enough to put a needle through. Check your disk.

k ill check but i havent had renegade 1 year like you said you did i think i havent had it 6 months yet not sure

ok i checked the disk theres nothing wrong with it and i reinstalled it again

and it gets the same ERROR

Download an .ISO of it and run it through daemon tools.

.ISO is an image format used by CD/DVD burning programs. Applications like Daemon Tools can mount them as if they were an actual CD or DVD, which would let you reinstall Renegade.

An .ISO of the Renegade game disk, and Daemon Tools is a program that mounts it. I prefer Alcohol 120% myself, but that takes longer to "install".

...You aren't supposed to make the ISO image yourself, because it will still be corrupt if that is infact the problem. Download one like Reborn said.
