I was just bidding on a copy of sole survivor. I was hoping to spend maybe $10 on it. Thats what I saw a copy go for about a year ago. Same deal, really good shape, all included, etc.
The thing went for over $50!

I rarely see them on ebay. A bunch of people must be trying to complete their collections.
BTW, has anyone heard of the "Command Companion - The Eve of Domination" expansion for the original C&C? I'd never heard of it before. Apparently it was released by a separate company not westwood. It added in some scenarios like Covert Ops did.
The original is by far my favourite C&C. I was hoping to get all the original stuff. But it definately isnt' worth that kind of money!

I installed sole survivor once and deleted it after 10 minutes of fooling around. The online part could have "saved" this game a bit but it has been offline for a long time now. It never was a success.

Ya I didn't hear about this until a few years ago. I used to be die hard into the original series. I remember going out and cleaning ditches with the local rotary association. I must of been no older then 8. The other rotarians helped my brother and I collect enough cans and bottles throughout the day to buy the $20 game. First game I ever bought.
So has anyone heard of "Command Companion - The Eve of Domination" I was really interested when I saw the auction but I didn't have time to bid on it. The guy doesn't have any pictures, screenshots or the original box. I'm a little skeptical but it sounds neat.

You assume it is command and conquer because it has command in it?

I'm just curious as to if it actually exists. It wasn' tjust this he was selling. He was listing the original C&C and this was a "bonus" alongside the covert ops expansion. I think thats what the listing was.
