Okay I have no internet at my house and no network, so how do I get the Internet LAN to work? When I click on it all it says it "No LAN IP Adress found". Please Help!

Replace skirmish.mix with your version or edit the ini.

add +multi to the shortcut from renegade
start a dedicated server with that modpackage
join it..

So edit server.ini and change "WOL" to "LAN" O_o

Go to C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\Server\ and find Renegadeserver.exe

Right click it, and click "Make Shortcut"

After that, Right click the shortcut and in tab "Shortcut" You should see a line called "Target: "C:\ bla poopoo\lol\d00d"

Add +milti to the end of the C:\bla thing, Click Apply and okay and done.

Here's an example; C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\Server\RenegadeServer.exe +multi

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

by the way, you also may want to openup the hosts file:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
in notepad and add a line like this:
127.0.0.1 master.gamespy.com

This will stop the FDS from trying to get a response from gamespy
before actually starting the FDS in LAN mode..
Something that bugged me in the past lol..

If you dont do this the FDS will 'hang' for a minute or so before
it actually starts up >.<

Okay I don't have the Renegadeserver.exe in my folder? Huh

And, I changed the WOL part to LAN, no change. Dont Get It

Please HELP!

Do it the easy way -> install the loopback network adapter driver that comes with Windows. Can't remember where exactly it is located, but you could search on the internet (when you're at whatever place you access it from).
