keep looking in always.dat, i edited my background black ten noticed i wanted the change the lines white.....couldnt find them, so...if you cant find them either, sorry man, hard coded things suck.

It might be if_scanline.dds and if_scanline2.dds, or possibly if_hlbar.dds and if_hlbar3.dds, so try those.

No, cause those are the ones you would edit to make the background a certain color, not the actual list's inner color and border color.

Almost all dialog box/menu related colors that aren't changeable via textures can be changed through various hud.ini keywords (all of which are available in scripts.dll 3.2.2)
read bhs.txt to see how to use them.
