Is there any way to get the contents of the .dat files in the .unc folder from the files and settings transfer wizard without running it? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Mero

AFAIK, no. However, you could create a new (Temporory) account, and import the .unc file into that account, copy the files/folders required to somewhere else, then delete that account.

Will that do?

No, i don't have enough space to install the files on the windows drive, i'll have to install windows on another drive.

New question: Is there a way to delete windows without formatting a partition?

Don't think so unless you can get at it from another OS, you could delete C:\windows
