How much detail does the gamelog display.

so far I have only seen it say

Creed3020's Minigunner has Killed EoEtub's Engineer

No vehicle info, building destruction, beacon deployment. Are those things it would say or not?

Also I noticed when you are in a vehicle it still says your actual character killed the person not the vehicle you are currently in.

Are these the limitations of gamelog or what?

brenbot is only displaying a fraction of what is available. there is !vehicles and !bl für buildings..

everything except beacon info is available - take a look at the saved gamelog.txt files, they contain basically everything that has happened in a round, including movements.. someone could write a nifty playback program there Smile

Vehicle tracking/displaying in kill messages only works if you got the SSAOW mod installed correctly (esp. objects.ddb renaming correctly etc). The replacement dlls from brenbot need to be applied to an EXISTING SSAOW installation.

Building Destruction messages are being displayed in IRC too.

well, i use br 136, and when i type !vehicles in irc, it says no vehicles, but i was in a stealth tank, and so was a whole bunch of people, and still said...NO VEHCILES

gamelog needs a proper installed ssaow base installation, ie a objects.ddb in your data dir. without it, it won't work properly.
