First, I am trying to change the background color, and text color / style and such for a poll with .css, the poll is done with .php and I added in the proper code which is (I thought)

I keep getting an error when ever I do that though.

Second, The bars for the results are not working properly, they should have a background image. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I don't know php, but the ?> and <? don't seem like proper html tags.

Also, in the code, you don't seem to have added in a "color=" or whatever the code is to color a background on a page. If you PM crimson to this thread, I'm sure she'll know what to do.

Before ?> and after <? is php code, I think that is correct, but I may be wrong. THX though, I'll try PM'ing Crimson

If you ask me isnt <?php and ?> the standered tags.
I dont know much about PHP will I am going to use it in the future.

EDIT: If I am mistaken don't you use the "echo" command when using HTML code in PHP code?

If so it would be this:

it been quite some time since i done html, but i can tell ya that dont look right at all, just everything is in the wrong place go to http://www.bravenet.com i think it is, and take one of there tuts or there pre made html poles. *also on http://www.tripod.com they have them.

I'm still having a couple problems, but nothing to bad, if they can't be fixed then it's not a big deal because it doesn't really matter.

1. A bar (http://www.egmods.com/Main/Poll/bar.gif) should be showing up inside of the white boxes.

2. All of the text except the link to view the archive is black. I would like it to be white.
