The last few days come at a curious time. Renegade just turned ten.
I think it's a marvel it's lasted so long. Piss-poor administration (talking about Renegade online, not individual servers/communities), rife with cheating, script kiddies.
Yet Renegade limps its way past its tenth birthday. We have a decent anti-cheat. I say this to everybody - from this point on, let's have no more of the e-attacks. (I'm not talking about flaming here, or banning who you like from your own server; I'm talking about ddosing, flooding, hacking... call it what you like, you get my point.) No more of it, from anybody. The game's lasted as long as it has in spite of that.

I wonder how many people know that the whole "this ends here" originated from me telling Samz0r to stop bitching about Raac being in TC as well?
But indeed. This should all end here, and that's why the action against Wilo and St0rm was correct; the point at which we come together and decide that it's about time we stopped this is long overdue, but it has come at last.
