What recall?
There's no recall (the announcement was misinterpreted), good sir.
Nintendo's offering free strap replacements and will replace (actually you're given the choice between sending it back for repair (no loss of data) and receiving a new one) your Wii if it's defective and under warranty (1 month + 90 days if you register it) consoles.
(Oh, and as opposed to what you may have read recently, Nintendo isn't making THAT much money on the Wii, considering that cost estimation were only covering the console itself, not the nunchuck, nor the Wii remote, nor the sensor (given it's not a sensor, but they all call it that) bar, nor the power supply, nor Wii Sports, nor the RCA cable and nor the plastic stands. But yeah, the console is profitable at launch, unlike say, the PS3.)
By the way, overtime the PS3 ends up being the less expensive of the two 'powerhouse' (PC > *).

I think its funny how this thread was hyjacked and turned into a Wii vs 360 Debate... Truth is the STRAP for the Wii controller was recalled, not the system. And the 360 (from what I remember) did not have a TRUE recall, they did alot of warrenty replacements, but no true recall. (I MAY BE WRONG ON THAT)
Also once I get my Wii I will give you my Wii Number.
P.S. want something to laugh at, Pople who try to COMPAIR, Wii graphics to 360 graphics... hehe, they were never ment to compete with each other HAHA...
anyway, i'm done.

Not realy, Ive has PS all my life, From the PS, to PS2, It's like something ive grown up with, + The N64 had a few kick-ass games with it. 
It's the Wii's pads that put me off, Sounds stupid, but i don't think I could adapt to that! 
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.
