i had that problem once..i did the control +alt+del to bring up that window (me forgets im tired) and close all except the explorer.exe or sumthing..make sure screensaver is set to none aswell and that should do it...

if not hmm there should be a MS-dos scan disk on a bootable floppy just go ms-dos (with out windows suport) and type A:scandisk c: that should do it..i think

correct me if i am wrong people..but thats how i did it on mine
