I must admit that I am not against this war. For what ever reason for the invasion, it seems better just have one rouge state bought under control. It also gives me something to write about when I have run out of ideas, or just drunk on my ass.
All I want to know is....
If we, (the brits and the yanks,) didn’t go in there with a semi united front, would Sadam ever be ousted and a fair government put in his place? Would he ever have disarmed?
I think not. My own view at the moment is that the UN would have kept on passing resolutions and not doing anything. Hell, the UN were so bothered about this war lord that they let him have a military and even allow the development of long range missiles. If 1441 was ever going to work, shouldn’t it have already been enforced?
A fair question, at least to me, any one got an answer? I would like to know what people think.
Yossarian lives!
