I see a lot of people complaing about people cheating using custom skins, making C4 bright yellow, and stealth units visible, about how people can gain advantages over others. But I've come to realize that players can gain an immense advantage from the hardware they use. I used to have a 766mhz celeron with an ancient graphics card, and currently I use a 2.53 ghz pentium 4 with a GF4 mx420. There was a dramatic improvement in FPS rates and it was much easier to play Renegade. I recently got a new mouse, and aiming is way easier, so I just don't understand this argument

Exactly! I gtet around 8-25FPS on Renegade, making it very hard to snipe, depending o how much is going on.

Can you see heat waves on high graphics? Or am I just thinking Generals.
