1.) DS came before BR.Net, If you're talking about the original BR I don't see how you can even compare them.
2.) They're nothing alike.

honestly, who gives a fuck, as long as you have a good way to admin your server, its all worth while...
no point in argueing semantics... they all have one common goal, to admin your server remotely with more support then renrem.exe.
