I'd take the FPS drop over the hassle of S-Video and whatnot. Especially since my FPS drops to whatever I specified it to be. I can deal with 30 FPS.


what are u using to record where u can specify what u want it to be? i could certain deal with 30 fps. but when i say my fps drops like a rock, it drops to like 3-7. or are u talking about specifing the fps rate in which the program records at?
