	| Frij, it's still the video card. I use an old video card and my 7000 is up in the shelves. If you had read reports on the card first (which I wish I had done) it says the 7000 is not good for gaming. In fact it's a fairly bad card. I had the exact same problems as you. It's just a better card you need; trust me. go to http://www.google.co.uk and type in "radeon 7000 stats" or something and you'll see what I mean. It comes out the worst in a comparison of typical video cards. 
 The later ATI series cards are good though I think. The 9600 series and up is great, but a little expensive I think.
 
 Oh, and if you can return the 7000 and get your money back, I would do so. And reinstall the old drivers while your at it.
