So what does happen if an uninsured person has an accident, and an emergency ambulance is called? What if it was a broken leg, for instance. Do the EMTs walk away if the patient cannot pay? (I suggest a broken leg because you're likely to be concious and thus discussions pertaining to payment could take place)
